The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam, except in case ofCGE quota, which is reserved for Son/Daughter of Central Government / Central Government Public Sector undertaking (CGE) employees who are posted in Assam for less than 20 (twenty) years and are not Permanent Residents of Assam. 

Yes, candidates who are not permanent residents of Assam can apply only under CGE quota of applicable. This quota is reserved for Son/Daughter of Central Government / Central Government Public Sector undertaking (CGE) employees who are posted in Assam for less than 20 (twenty) years and are not Permanent Residents of Assam. 

a Candidates who have passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering & Technology under  the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the Final Diploma Examination.

b.Passed 10+2 withsubjects as stated bellow for the corresponding major disciplines:

Any Subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidatesbelonging to reserved category) in the above subjects takentogether.Also must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in single sitting, without any grace marks in the Mandatory or the relevant subjects/ courses at 10+2 level and also must pass individually both in Theory & Practical.

To qualify for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme, the family income must be below 8 lakh per annum.

In such cases, the candidate is not required to select any option in Sub-Category, and can skip the subcategory drop-down option.

If you have successfully submitted the application after filling all the details and payment of fee, and downloaded the acknowledgement slip, you can ignore the Apply button.

While sending an email with a query, please ensure to include the following details:

d. Registered Email Address.

e. Registered Contact Number

In such cases, apply as a diploma holder.

In such cases, candidates should wait for 24 hours to allow for any potential delays in processing. If the issue persists beyond this timeframe, please send us an email detailing your problem along with your transaction details and registration information. If the payment is successful it will be reflected in your log in page in the Payments Section.

Please follow these steps to check your payment status:

 a.Loginto your account.
b. Click on the "Payment" option located at the top of your screen.
c. Select the "Check Payment" option that appears.
d. View your payment status which will be displayed.
